PAL Toronto

A creative community of imaginative, outgoing, resourceful, accomplished, sometimes unconventional, possibly eccentric, but mostly warm and generous folks - who share a lifelong passion - a career committed to the professional performing arts.

PAL’s 30th Anniversary

Anticipating PAL Toronto's 30th Anniversary celebrations, CBC Radio's Metro Morning produced a segment featuring David Plant, Pam Hyatt, Valerie Boyle, Suzan Ayscough, and dTaborah (Tabby) Johnson. The item pays tribute to our organization's history, the talented people who live here, and a peak into the future. Fittingly, they share their stories with humour, and a bit of nostalgia, validating the contribution residents make to arts and culture.

Thursday, September 14th was a day of celebrations.  PAL Toronto's 30th Anniversary and COMMFFEST's 18th Anniversary took to the streets. Honoured guests were Mayor Olivia Chow, MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam, and Councillor Chris Moise

What I like about living at PAL is that the residents are as eclectic and diverse as our whole downtown neighbourhood - and that I can serve our PAL community behind the scenes, at my own pace, and in my own style.
