Hello theatre lovers.
As many of you know, I have been on a quest for three years to get a TORONTO- NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, express bus service, during the SHAW FESTIVAL
Stratford offers a return twice daily service for less than $30.
Currently without a car A SHAW FESTIVAL fan cannot attend one or more shows, & return to Toronto the same day.
As theatre goers we would rather spend our $ on the shows & not the hotels
We currently do not have that option at SHAW
In February I had a positive conversation with Tim Jennings the new exec director of the SHAW FESTIVAL
He assured me that THIS transportation issue is on both his & the Board’s radar.
But in order to make it happen there needs to be a large & vocal need of same,
If you love theatre & would attend THE SHAW FESTIVAL once or more often each season, then let Tim know the only thing stopping you is reasonable transportation.
E mail Tim Jennings at: firstname.lastname@example.org
