Supporting Cast

Supporting Cast

PAL Toronto's volunteer driven outreach support program.

Supporting Cast advocates and promotes healthy lifestyles and well-being for residents, particularly important for more senior members to live independently for as long as possible.

There are frequent workshops on nutrition and health for PAL Toronto residents, offering tips and techniques for independent living that often include other neighbourhood organizations.

Health Services Coordinator.

PAL Toronto employs an in-house, full-time Health Services Coordinator (HSC) who assists residents with health and social service resources. Responding to requests from residents, in a timely manner, the HSC brings a knowledge of community health, and a commitment to uphold the privacy, dignity and worth of each resident.

PALzaPOPPIN’

PALzaPOPPIN' is a monthly potluck meal event.  It's a great time for all residents to mix, mingle and feast on home-cooked food.  Resident volunteers cook, serve, clean-up and deliver to those unable to leave their apartments.

A PAL Toronto get together wouldn't be complete without a few of our talented residents in performance.

NICHOLAS RICE

In PAL, if you want company, it’s easy to find.  Then again, if you want privacy, people respect that.  I’ve lived here since late 2014 and these have been some of the happiest years of my life.
