Celebration on Market Street

PAL Toronto's 30th Anniversary and COMMFFEST’s 18th Anniversary was a huge success! In addition to honoured guests Mayor Olivia Chow, MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam, and Councillor Chris Moise, the street was jumping with live music, neighbourhood friends, industry supporters, and the perfect weather added just the right touch to the festivities.

The Green Room is the heart of PAL

The Green Room's most important role is a gathering place for residents - to socialize during morning coffee, to enjoy monthly movie nights, as a setting for workshops, rehearsals, to share a holiday meal and other celebratory events.

The venue has a professionally designed platform stage and offers seating for up to 150 people.  Used as a performance space by residents, visiting artists or for outside organization’s meetings and events.

Available for booking by independent organizations for events such as: a book launch, corporate meetings, birthdays, memorials, workshops, etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped and recently updated. To inquire about the Green Room’s availability and suitability email: bldgmgr_pal@rogers.com

In honour of Toronto's theatre history, the room's official name is the Crest Theatre Green Room and connects many residents to their careers.  Follow this link to discover more about the Crest Theatre.

As the pandemic's limitations lift and group gatherings become more common, please visit this site for updates about procedures to reserve the Green Room

The Celebrity Club is our intimate venue.

The Celebrity Club is known within the PAL Toronto community for hosting live events ranging from independent musical acts to stand-up comedy and other types of entertainment.

With seating capacity for 50 people, the Celebrity Club has a liquor license, and a cash bar. Independent organizations are welcome to book the venue for small-scale events.

To inquire about the Club’s availability and suitability please email the Club Manager at: celebrityclub@paltoronto.org

SANDIE DE FREITAS

As a long-time PAL resident, I’ve enjoyed the good fortune of living here and being able to create a community partner called the Community Film & Arts Festival (Commffest). Many PAL residents have enjoyed participating in creating film screenings, art shows, concerts, workshops and conferences not only for our neighbourhood but others as well.
