PAL Toronto’s 30th Anniversary
Thursday, September 14th, 2023 was a day of celebrations. PAL Toronto's 30th Anniversary and COMMFFEST's 18th Anniversary celebration took place on Market Street. Honoured guests were Mayor Olivia Chow, MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam, and Councillor Chris Moise, the street was jumping with live music, neighbourhood friends, industry supporters, and the perfect weather added just the right touch to the festivities.
Anticipating PAL Toronto's 30th Anniversary celebrations, CBC Radio's Metro Morning produced a segment featuring David Plant, Pam Hyatt, Valerie Boyle, Suzan Ayscough, and dTaborah (Tabby) Johnson. The item pays tribute to our organization's history, the talented people who live here, and a peak into the future. Fittingly, they share their stories with humour, and a bit of nostalgia, validating the contribution residents make to arts and culture.
